|The Battle of the Bands held on Friday, 24th March was a great success with all the school bands and a student led band competing for the trophy. The Apprentice Band, comprised of mainly Year 7 students who have been learning their instruments for only a few months, were the winners of the Battle of the Bands cup. Awards were also given to individual performers on various instruments. Many thanks to Anjali Perin, who was our adjudicator and who also sang two numbers with a staff band at the start of the evening. Thanks also to the staff who coached the bands and, of course, to all the students who performed so brilliantly throughout the evening.|
