End of term arrangement and start of the new school year. I am writing to update you on our recent Progression Week activities and outline arrangements for the end of term and start of the new school year. Below are some key dates for the end of term and Sep 2019 start.
At Queen Mary, University of London, a group of Yr 9 and Yr10, had a fun learning day out. They engaged with hacking static and dynamic websites and programming a micro:bit powered robot using C++. There was a chat from Morgan Stanley, investment bank, about how Computer Science is used in their industry and career pathways into the bank. Here are some pictures:
Please find attached the schedule for Monday. Please be reminded that attendance to Progression is compulsory for all those who do not have a pre approved work experience placement (10 boys). Please ensure that you are seated in uniform in the main hall on Monday at 8.20 for a prompt start.
You need to be in each day at the specified time.
On Monday, Wednesday and Friday you will finish at 1.05pm
On Monday you will be given a wrist band – follow the schedule that corresponds to that colour only. For example anyone with a yellow wrist band is in group 1 and will be completing the sessions on Monday in the following order:
