We do try and prevent accidents from occurring but unfortunately they do happen from time to time. If we are concerned about your son following an accident and feel they need further treatment we will contact you or your designated emergency contact immediately. In serious cases which thankfully are rare we will call an ambulance.
Please inform us if you change your mobile number so we have the correct emergency details for your son(s).
Please be aware we do not supply any medication to pupils, however if your son(s) need to take medication during the school day please send this in with his name clearly marked and information what time he will need to take his medication. If you would like your son/s to be able to take pain relief or hay-fever medication/eye drops whilst in school this can also be handed in to the Upper or Lower School Medical Office with his name on.
We have a number of pupils in school who are highly allergic to nuts. Anaphylactic shock can be a life threatening condition. This occurs when the child comes in to contact with nuts, however slight. As far as practicable, we try to be a nut free school. We ask parents to ensure nuts or nut products are not brought in to school for lunches or snacks – thank you.
